Critical change

February 16, 2016

What is the ONE most critical thing that you need to change right now?

And what's going to happen if you don't get a handle on it?

I asked myself these very questions several years ago when I was feeling lonely, frustrated and to be honest, I felt like I was losing myself.

When I finally took a hold of my issues and began to find clarity in my life, I decided that the one thing I needed to change, at that point, was my purpose. After moving abroad with my partner I found myself having to reinvent who I was in terms of work (as I had to leave behind my career) and it wasn't easy.

That's when I found my calling into the coaching business. I had my own life coach for a few years prior and it was something that had always stuck in the back of my head. I thought life coaching would be a lovely way to reach out to my community, and knowing what my life coach had done for me I knew it would be a great fit for me. However, because of my limiting beliefs around that idea I didn't do anything about it for a very long time.

It wasn't until I actually asked myself the second question, 'what's going to happen if I don't get a handle on this situation?'

I needed to do something and I knew that if I didn't find a purpose in the UK that I was going to be miserable and frustrated with life. So I made a choice to remove that voice in my head, that was holding me back, and I went for it! I went on to receive my qualifications as a life coach and I'm absolutely loving my new line of work.  I have met so many wonderful people along my journey and it's absolutely amazing how the support comes out in an abundance.

I am extremely happy with my new role as a life coach and assisting my clients to find their clarity and reach their goals. The best part of this new venture for me is that I can coach from anywhere in the world. As we travel quite a bit, all I need to continue with my clients is my laptop and phone (and WiFi!)

So I challenge YOU to sit down and answer those two questions. Give yourself permission to take the time and really think about it as this is not an overnight process. Be honest with what you want, and why you want it and don't let the outside world chip in with their expectations and/or opinions. This is your passion and future, and you must want this for yourself. Allow your feelings to guide you and notice where you are being drawn. And if you still find yourself struggling then reach out to someone for guidance as I did with a life coach.

All it takes is a shift in one thought or belief and you can be on your way to a bright and happy future!
